Man admits Glasgow bomb charge

A doctor has pleaded guilty to withholding information about the car bomb attack on Glasgow Airport.

Sabeel Ahmed, 26, entered the plea during a hearing at the Old Bailey in London on Friday morning.

Ahmed, of Bangalore, India, was arrested in Liverpool and charged under the Terrorism Act 2000 on Saturday 30 June, the same day as the attack.

Prosecutors say Ahmed's brother, Kafeel, sent an e-mail to the doctor before driving a jeep into the airport.
